After learning we were pregnant and realizing I wasn’t going to be able to play volleyball for the next nine month, I knew I needed to find something to keep me active. I had heard great things about yoga for pregnancy, so I thought I’d give it a try.

I’m fortunate that my work offers a yoga class two days a week during the lunch hour. Now I have no excuse, I don’t have to leave the building, it’s a small class with my co-workers…a no brainer!

I’ve taken three classes so far and LOVE it! It’s relaxing, challenging, builds strength and flexibility, and just makes me feel good. I have also downloaded a couple of prenatal yoga podcasts and am anxious to get into a regular routine again…along with getting re-acquainted with the elliptical!
