Surgery for Zoey
Zoey finally went under the knife Friday to fix her torn ACL. We picked her up Saturday morning and is doing very well. The surgeon said it was a very boring surgery. He cleaned up her meniscus (she lost about 40%) and repaired her knee.
She’s pretty drugged up right now, which is good because all she can really do is lay around. No running, jumping, stairs, walks outside, etc for the first two weeks. Her medicine and physical therapy regimen is about as rigorous as mine was, but she should be all recovered in about eight weeks.
Lets just hope we can keep her down for two weeks until her staples come out and she can add a little more activity.
