Everyone I’ve asked for advice on toys has always added books to their list. So, I’ve added a few new books to our small collection of children’s books. The following are now part of our library: Corduroy, The Very Hungry Caterpiller, If you Give a Mouse a Cookie, The Going to Bed Book, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus.
One of the best pieces of advice I’ve received so far on books:purchase the familiar, good ‘ole standbys that everyone recognizes. A familiar story in an unfamiliar place will definitely put a child a little more at ease. Brilliant!
I have an every growing Wish List on Amazon as a reminder: Shel Silverstein books, Dr. Seuss, Goodnight Moon, Clifford, a children’s Bible, and the list goes on.
What are some of your favorite children’s books?
