Book Review: Honeymoon with My Brother

I read this memoir, by Franz Weisner, at the recommendation of my stepdad and I really enjoyed it.

It’s a true story (hence memoir) of the author when his life was turned completely upside down. He had a great job, fiance, house…until his fiance called of the wedding just days before their “I do’s.” His friends and family thought he should go through with the wedding and honeymoon anyway, sans the bride. The honeymoon turned into a two year long trek traveling around the world. He and his brother quit their jobs, sold their houses and traveled. Reconnecting with each other and Franz learning more about himself.

It’s a great, quick read. Enjoy!
