Hawkeye Homecoming

Homecoming began today for me – while the University does have a week of activities, most are geared toward the college students. Marching bands, parade, food, friends, fun, and Hawkeye Football!

I started the day by attending the Johnson County I-Club Breakfast with a crowd of Hawk Fans and a great talk from Coach Ferentz. When I got to work, about 20 members of the marching band were walking in the door to do their annual performance in the lobby of our office. The tradition is that the band plays and we throw them money from the different floors. I had a great view from the third floor!

I ended the night watching the homecoming parade with my brother…it was a beautiful night for a parade!

Stay tuned for some game day photos.

Go Hawks!
