I’m heading to the University of Iowa campus and class! A group of ladies from a Business & Communication class are doing a marketing final project/presentation. Groups were instructed to pick local businesses in the Iowa City area to research and provide marketing solutions and they picked Bagolitas!
They came by the Studio for a tour and to gather some information a couple of weeks ago and I’m excited to hear their presentation and the ideas they’ve come up with.
Miss Zoey does it the best. Like each morning Zoey watches me back out of the driveway and then runs to the front window to see me drive by, her ears perked and tail wagging. Or, how she waits at the bottom of the stairs for me, head rested on the first step patiently waiting for me to walk down. And, my favorite, after returning home (no matter how long I’ve been gone, 1 hour or all weekend) she could not be more excited to see me. She bounces up and down trying to like my nose…knowing she isn’t supposed to jump on us. How’s that for stretching the rules!
I’ve read a couple of articles about clothing/accessory swap parties and I have to admit it sounds kinda fun. It this tough economy, what a great way to get new (to you!) clothing and accessories.
I hit the sand this afternoon with a few members from our summer sand volleyball team…the Acers…and a couple other friends. We had a blast and were able to get in three games before the rain. The wind was crazy, you never knew where the ball was going to land! By the last game I was exhausted.

This morning on my way to work I landed behind one of the city buses that stops at every block. Annoying, yes, but not big deal right? Well, I was consumed with to pass or not to pass. I know you’re not supposed to pass a school bus, but does that same rule apply to cidy buses? My answer, I became a follower this morning when the car infront of me passed the bus.
