There wasn’t much ‘life’ at Kent Park, things just aren’t greening up yet. We managed to snap a few shots of a bridge and then on the way back into town we pulled into this little cemetary.

Weekend with my Brother March 31, 2009
My brother came to town for the weekend for a quick visit (Update: found a better picture!). While he was in town, we did some retail therapy at the outlet mall/Coralridge/2nd hand stores, including Artifacts across from Johns Grocery in Iowa City…very cool store. We also snapped some pictures at Kent Park and a local cemetary (have I mentioned how jealous I am of his new camera) and then took in a little March Madness with friend MKD.
It was a fun weekend spending time with Nick, makes me wish we lived closer to each other! Two hours isn’t so bad though.
The Gladiator Look: Yes or No? March 30, 2009
The Gladiator sandal is the hot new thing for spring. The are in all the magazines and this morning they landed in my email inbox (thank you Piperlime!). I’m all for trying new things and stepping out of the box, but I don’t think I’m brave enough for this trend.
Upon further shopping, I did find more subdued versions of the Gladiator. I think I might be able to do this one!
