Yeah, I finally got to sleep in my new bed last night. Wish I could say I got a good nights sleep…stupid cold! The bed is super comfortable and I would definitely recommend Memory Foam to everyone! Here’s a look at the complete package. Josh surprised me yesterday afternoon by making the whole bed (duvet and all!) so I wouldn’t have to worry about it…XOXO honey! You can’t really tell from the picture put it’s a black sleigh bed.

Now that the new bed is in position, I think it’s time for new nightstands (lamps too!). I don’t want anything too matchy, matchy so I’m thinking mirrors/metal/glass like this hot little number from Pottery Barn would be great…it’s a pipe dream though at $400 a pop and Josh doesn’t like it. I’m sure I can find a cheaper version, but need something ‘manly’ for Josh.

So, now I need help. Do I go with the mirror/metal/glass for myself and get Josh something more substantial in the black wood? Do I stick with black wood and go for a different shape/look than the bed, do I try a complete contrast and go white?
Josh and I are right in the middle of one of the busiest weeks we’ve had in a long time. He’s swamped at work, keeping at least four appointments a day. I’m swamped at work with the Dance Marathon Sale and preparing for a Consultant leadership retreat this weekend. Plus, we are trying to coordinate bed set up (last night) and mattress delivery (today!). Throw in Miss Zoey and it’s one crazy week.
That’s all I heard on the drive to work this morning, ice fog. I never knew such a thing existed. Wish I would have had my camera, because it was kinda pretty. I borrowed this picture from Google Images.
It’s that time of year again…The

Not sure if I’m a true recessionista because I’m always on the hunt for a bargain to try and stretch my clothes budget, not matter the economic climate.
The Oswald’s are on the hunt for a new mattress and it’s a little overwhelming. Serta, Sealy, pillowtop, firm, springfree, memory foam, sleep number, posturepedic, plush, ultra plush, etc, etc, etc. All these words are unfamiliar in my vocabulary. I just want a bed that doesn’t make my back hurt and doesn’t cost $3000. And don’t try and offer me a deal on the floor model. Who wants a floor model bed anyway…gross! How many people have jumped, laid, and rolled around on those display beds?
