Iowa River Flooding

By The Oswald's

Here are the latest pictures (courtesy of the local newspapers) of the flooding along the Iowa River.  Most of the pictures are of Dubuque Street, which is the main road that leads into Iowa City and through the University of Iowa Campus.  The other 2 pictures are from the Coralville Resevior and the dam…which should be spilling over anytime.  All the reports are saying that the flood levels are worse than the Flood of ‘93.

I just talked to my mom this morning and she said Saylorville Lake in Des Moines is going to spill over and there is quite a bit of sandbagging going on too.

Iowa’s bracing themselves again for more showers Wednesday and Thursday.  Yikes!
